Lasting Impact Requires Long-Term Support

David Turner, Founder and Board President

We don’t need statistics to prove that there is a huge need for educational support and mentoring for young people. Even before Covid many students, especially in urban centers, were behind.

In order for these students to overcome the massive hurdles they face and rise into their potential, they need to be inspired with vision for their life, they need to be empowered with skills for success, and they need encouraging support. This is why Restored For More exists. We want to see these students succeed in college, in career, and in life. We want to help them break those cycles of poverty and addiction and become restored for more.

We celebrate the tremendous growth and impact we have made in just a short time. But we are building tutoring and mentoring programs that will continue to grow and make a lasting impact. We can’t wait to celebrate many students’ successes in years to come as they graduate college and enter into successful careers.

In order to accomplish this it takes a considerable amount of investment for a considerable amount of time. Consider, for example, that the journey from struggling to read in elementary school to graduating college is over a decade of investment. To fulfill our mission, even for one child, will take a great commitment. Restored For More is committed to Saint Louis, to at-risk youth, and to fulfilling our mission one student at a time.

We’re inviting you to partner with us because a long-term effort needs long-term support. We are asking you to consider donating monthly to Restored For More to help us build a solid foundation for many years to come. Donating monthly–even $20–will allow us to become sustainable and build this service organization. 2024 we will add more schools and volunteers to our tutoring program and we will add mentoring and after school programs to our already existing tutoring programs.

Help us grow, help us build, help us make a lasting impact. Thank you!
